Admin Panel

In addition, there is a helper tool available to determine the correct values for the url parameters and to generate the URLs.

The admin panel can be activated by adding the URL parameter &ap=true to the base URL.

https://ui.pcon-solutions.com/#GATEKEEPER_ID=[yourID]&ap=true

:!: Please make sure not to use the ap= parameter within your iframe source on your live webpage!

How to use the Admin Panel

Create an iFrame url to an Catalog Entry Point or Article

Once you have opened the Admin Panel, proceed as follows:

  1. Minimise the Admin Panel, it will be minimised at the bottom left of the page. Your subscribed catalogs are now visible.
  2. click through the catalog to the desired destination (e.g. a sub-catalog or a product)
  3. when you have reached your destination, enlarge the Admin Panel again, where you will now find the link at the bottom that you need to use for your iframe to get back to this exact point.

  4. Copy this link by clicking on the clipboard icon.

Deep links to folders (url with cep / crp) are unstable and can break with OFML data updates. Hence, you should use the parameters cep and crp with care or only for first level (manufacturer id).

Create an iframe url to an preconfigured Article

Proceed as in Create an iFrame url to an article but before enlarging the admin panel again, configure your article as wanted:

  1. Minimise the Admin Panel, it will be minimised at the bottom left of the page. Your subscribed catalogs are now visible.
  2. click through the catalog to the desired article
  3. configure the article as wanted for predefined implementation for your website
  4. enlarge the Admin Panel again, where you will now find the link at the bottom that you need to use for your iframe to get back to this pre-configured article.

  5. Copy this link by clicking on the clipboard icon.

If your article is an article Group (PEC) or Article with child elements, this url will always lead to the basic configuration and not to a preconfigured one.

Additional Options within the Admin Panel

In the Admin Panel, you can view and switch the settings for your pCon.ui that can be changed via Available URL Parameter.

Please note: none of these choices will change your default instance settings. Changes will only lead to add the corresponding Available URL Parameter to your base URL.
