generate Token and get Data ID
For what purpose is a Token / Data ID required?
A Token is used for interchange between the corresponding services. There is no information exchange regarding your password or pCon.login name between pCon.ui and pCon.login. Without Token a pCon.ui instance cannot be created. Therefore you have generate a token and give us the Data-ID Request Form / pCon.cloud checklist.
Please sign in using a neutral pCon.login account. The used account is permanently linked to your instance and should therefore not belong to a real employee of the organization. If the account of a real employee is used and the employee leaves the organization, for example, the account can be deleted. This invalidates the associated instance.
Generate Token and get Data-ID - How to
- please first logout from your pCon.login account or at least open a private browser window
- If you are currently filling out the form:
- simply click on the link in the form called “webtool” next to the token textbox.
- login to the corresponding pCon.login account, you want to use for pCon.ui
- click on the login button
- login with your credentials
- you get an overview of your current subscribed catalogs
- confirm with button on bottom
- copy Data-ID and paste it into forms field
- If you want to setup new Token (because current pCon.login is invalid or you want to use another account):
- open this Webadress: generate Token
- login to the corresponding pCon.login account, you want to use for pCon.ui
- you get an overview of your current subscribed catalogs
- confirm with button on bottom
- copy Data-ID and send it to us with the Gatekeeper ID where it has to be changed
